What if I'm not a Certified Life Coach? Can I attend?

Absolutely! We welcome certified coaches, coaches-in-training, people considering a career in coaching, as well as therapists, social workers, educators, and other people who love personal and professional development.

Isn’t life coaching just some fantasy career/pretend therapy/a scam?
settings
No. Life coaching is one of the most rewarding professions on earth. As a life coach, you get paid to help people build confidence, clear obstacles, feel unstoppable, and create the life they really want. There are many successful life coaches, and you’ll hear from some of them at this townhall presentation.
Life coaching does not take the place of therapy. Some people opt to hire both a life coach and a therapist. Some therapists become certified as life coaches to expand their practice and capabilities.
Simply put:
Are changes needed in the life coaching industry? Yes.
Is the entire industry filled with scam artists running amok? No.
If you want to make a profound impact on people’s lives—and earn a great living—becoming a life coach is an excellent career move.
